Metron Instruments is a company with extensive years of experience in metrology,  measurement and control technology.

In 1990, the craftsmanship was established as a manufacturer representative for measuring technology within which an authorized laboratory was operating.

In 1997, the laboratory was separated into a separate legal entity Metron Instruments d.o.o. and continues to work with the status of an authorized State Office for Metrology (DZNM) laboratory.

In 2005, the laboratory was accredited by the Croatian Accreditation Agency according to HRN EN ISO / IEC 17025 standard as a calibration laboratory for calibration of pressure measuring devices and a testing laboratory for coherent and non-coherent optical radiation sources and measurement of coherent and non-coherent optical radiation. The testing laboratory is licensed by the Ministry of Health for professional radiation protection activities.

In 2011, the laboratory was accredited by the Croatian Accreditation Agency according to HRN EN ISO / IEC 17025 standard as a calibration laboratory for temperature measuring devices.

In 2016, the laboratory was accredited by the Croatian Accreditation Agency according to the HRN EN ISO / IEC 17020 standard for inspection of tire pressure gauges. The Laboratory is authorized by the State Office for Metrology to perform the first, regular and exceptional inspection of tire pressure gauges.

Metron Instruments d.o.o. is a member of following professional associations: Croatian Laboratories (CROLAB), Croatian Metrology Society (HMD), Croatian Radiation Protection Society (HDZZ) and a member of two technical committees of the Croatian Standards Institute (HZN).
